Vana Papakitsou
She studied Psychology and Sociology at Panteion University and completed her postgraduate studies in Criminology at the same institution. In 2018, she completed her Doctoral Dissertation at Panteion University. She has been working as a Psychologist since 2005, and since 2016, she has been a Scientific Associate at the "Restorative Justice and Mediation" Laboratory of the Sociology Department, School of Social Sciences at Panteion University. Since 2018, she has been part of the Special Scientific Personnel in the Department of General Sociology at Panteion University. Her research interests focus on contemporary forms of violence and criminality among adolescents and young people, as well as on social research topics. She has worked on issues of child abuse and domestic violence, school violence and bullying, violence prevention and intervention, contemporary issues of adolescence and youth, and the empowerment of vulnerable social groups.
