Lygeri Zochiou

Ligeri Zochiou was born in Corfu and moved with her family to Athens during her preschool years, where she has lived ever since. She holds a degree in Sociology from Panteion University of Athens. She subsequently attended a Juvenile Curators Seminar as well as a Marketing and Market Research Seminar. She holds the Cambridge University Proficiency diploma and the Global Intermediate certificate. She has completed a Teachers' Training course at the British Council. For a decade, she has been involved in teaching English and providing supplementary education to elementary and middle school students. She is an amateur painter, with a fondness for olives, portraits, and other subjects created in her own unique style. She is the author of the children's fairy tale "Tembelig the Elf Who Was Always Bored" (Ocelotos Publications). She also writes poetry and short stories, many of which have been posted on literary and informational websites over time. Additionally, she contributed the poem "The Four Little Ornaments" to the collective work "Christ is Born" (Ostria Publications) and the short story "The Mask" (For Anna) to the collective work "Unsent Letters" (Elkystis Publications). Her recent literary work is the book "Choice - Poems and More," a collection of poems, short stories, and aphorisms, published in November 2020 by Kaktos Publications.
