CHrysa Karamitrou

Chrysa Karamitrou hails from Adriani, Drama. She was born to immigrant parents in Esslingen, Germany, but soon returned with her family to Greece and grew up in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at the University of Ioannina's School of Philosophy and later from the Department of Primary Education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki's School of Education, where she also completed her postgraduate studies in Education and Social Exclusion. Since 2007, she has been living in Athens, working as a teacher in Public Primary Education. She writes articles on educational, social, and political issues for periodicals and online platforms. The book "San Al Sur and Cocteau" is her first children's literary book.
