
Tzeni A. Moraiti
Jenny Moraiti was born in Sykourio, Larissa. She studied at the Chania School of Kindergarten Teachers, the Pedagogical Academy of Thessaloniki, and the Department of Early Childhood Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her doctoral dissertation on folk tales at the Democritus University of Thrace, in the Department of Early Childhood Education. Jenny worked for many years as a kindergarten teacher and taught at various Regional Training Centers. Since 2002, she has been teaching as a specialist scientist at the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Thessaly. In 2003, she was elected School Counselor for the 32nd District of Preschool Education in Magnesia, under the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Thessaly. She has been a presenter at seminars and has participated in both Greek and international conferences. Jenny has published articles in scientific journals and authored the books: "Folk Tradition in Kindergarten," Barbounakis, 1994, and "Folk Tradition and School: An Educational Program for Introducing Kindergarten and Primary School Children to Traditional Culture," Ellinika Grammata, 1997.
