Kostas Skounakis

Kostas Skounakis was born in 1976 in Piraeus, where he also grew up. He continues to live and work in the same city to this day. He studied at the Department of Tourism Enterprises of the School of Management and Economics (SDE) at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, from which he graduated in 2000 with high honors. After completing his military service, he worked at the TITANIA Hotel in the banquet department. Since 2006, he has been running the family restaurant business in Piraeus with his brother Dimitris, which was founded by their grandfather Dimitris Skounakis and inherited by their father Sifis. In addition, since 2011, he has been working as an hourly instructor at the IEK Piraeus, teaching in the specialty of Culinary Arts Technician - Chef. Since March 2017, he has been a certified adult educator by EOPPEP.
