Joachim Kappner

Joachim Kappner was born in 1961 in Bonn. He is a journalist for the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He was awarded the German Economists’ Book Prize in 2011 for his biography of Berthold Beitz, which also became a bestseller. In 1999, he won the Theodor Wolff Prize for "Bis die Freiheit aufersteht."
