Kostis Kostakis
Kostis Kostakis was born in 1981 and hails from Vasiliki Ierapetras, Crete. He graduated from the General Lyceum of Ierapetra and then attended the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, where he studied in the Department of Accounting. In 2004, he graduated from the Anavyssos School of Tourism Professions, specializing in Culinary Arts, and completed his practical training at the Titania Hotel in Athens and the Rodos Palace. He continued his education at the Chef d’Oeuvre School, where he took courses in baking, and further enriched his knowledge through seminars in pastry, traditional pies, and baked goods. He worked in various restaurants, with significant milestones in his career at Calypso, at the Elounda Peninsula Hotel, and curated the menu at and worked in the restaurants Canto in Glyfada and MOMA in Monastiraki. Finally, he was inspired to create the store à la grecque in Chalandri, offering handmade traditional products from all over Greece.
