Konstantinos Kipouros

Born in Kavala in 1978, the author is a graduate of the Galaxidi Educational Institute of the Ministry of Tourism Development (formerly the School of Tourism Professions) with a specialization in Culinary Arts in 1996. He also graduated from the Vocational Training Institute (I.E.K.) of Kavala with a specialty in Culinary Arts. He holds a degree from the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries of the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Epirus and completed a postgraduate program in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Thessaly. He has participated in numerous conferences and seminars and attended the Lifelong Education Program "Crisis Risk Management & Emergency Response." He was awarded a silver medal in the 3rd Panhellenic Bakery & Pastry Art Competition for "Artistic Creation with Sugar Paste - Dragantine" (Artozyma, 2006). He has worked in hotel and independent catering businesses across various parts of Greece and specializes in H.A.C.C.P. Since 2007, he has been a municipal employee and was registered in the General Registry of Trainers of the Hellenic Food Authority (E.F.E.T.) from 2007 to 2010. Since 2012, he has been a professor at the I.E.K. Kavala in the "Culinary Arts Technician" specialty and a lecturer for the LAEK programs of the Greek Manpower Employment Organization (OAED). He participated in the Young Scientists Competition in 2005 at the Panhellenic Conference of Ichthyologists held in Drama and has four scientific publications, with the most recent in October 2013 at the 15th Panhellenic Conference of Ichthyologists.
