Nikoletta CHristodoulou
Nicoletta (Niki) Christodoulou holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Curriculum Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has served as Cyprus's representative in the International Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies. A professional educator, she earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the same university and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cyprus. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University) in Georgia, USA, and a lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood Education at the School of Education at Frederick University. Her research interests broadly encompass curriculum studies. She is extensively involved in qualitative research, including narrative and (auto)biographical research and oral history research, where she explores issues of memory, personal experiences, and their educational value. She is the scientific lead of various funded research projects with national and European funding, including the research project "The Oral History of Cyprus" from 2010 to 2012.
