
CHaralampos Petras
Charalampos Petras was born in Piraeus. He is a Psychologist - Psychotherapist and Organizational Coach. He studied Anthropology and History at the University of the Aegean, where he also completed his postgraduate studies, and Psychology at the European University Cyprus. He has been trained in Family Therapy with a Systemic Approach at the program of the Attica Psychiatric Hospital, in Trauma Therapy using the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) method at the Athens Trauma Therapy Institute, in Psychosocial Assessment and Psychiatric Nursing at the 414 Military Hospital of Special Diseases, and in Life Coaching at Oxford College. He is the founder and director of the Athens Coaching Institute. He has designed and coordinates two coaching training programs certified by international industry associations. He provides Organizational & Executive Coaching and Leadership Consulting. To date, he has collaborated with mental health structures, multinational organizations, businesses, and services, and has conducted on-site anthropological research in a psychiatric clinic. He is a full member of the International Society of Coaching Psychology, the Association for Coaching, the European Mentoring & Coaching Council, and the American Anthropological Association. He holds a professional license as a Psychologist and maintains a private Psychological Practice, where he works therapeutically with adults. He has been honored for his contribution to promoting the mental health of military personnel in the armed forces. He loves music, people, and his country.
