CHarilaos Nikolaidis

Charilaos Nikolaidis was born in Athens in December 1986. He is a lawyer and a lecturer in Public Law and Human Rights at the University of Essex's School of Law in the United Kingdom. He has published the poetry collections "Fox on the Highway" (Melani, 2015) and "Other Tastes" (Melani, 2018), and he translated the collection "A Few Figs from Thistles" by Edna St. Vincent Millay (Thraka, 2017). His poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies in Greece and abroad. He has also authored a series of scholarly studies on the nature and application of human rights, as well as the monograph "The Right to Equality in European Human Rights Law: The Quest for Substance in the Jurisprudence of the European Courts" (Routledge, 2015).
