
Nikos Ordoulidis
Nikos Ordoulidis studied at the University of Leeds in England, where he earned a PhD in popular musicology and a master's degree in music performance, and at the University of Macedonia, where he obtained a degree in music science and art. His research interests revolve around the musical syncretism that permeates musical genres and idioms. Additionally, performance practices and the pedagogical approach to popular piano constitute another aspect of his research activity. He is an active composer with five recorded works. He is a member of the Modern Greek Studies Association and the Hellenic Musicological Society. Since 2014, he has been teaching as a University Fellow in the Department of Popular and Traditional Music at the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus and has published three musicological books.
