Eyagelos P. Siskos

Evangelos Siskos was born in Kastoria. He studied international economic relations at the School of International Relations and International Law at Kyiv State University, where he received his degree (M.Sc.) in 1989. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations and Foreign Policy from the Ukrainian School of International Relations at Kyiv State University, and he obtained his Ph.D. in International Economy and International Economic Relations from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at the Institute of International Economy and International Relations. He specialized in economic relations and exports of European Union countries, particularly Greece, with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In the past, he has served as an economic advisor for Motor Oil Hellas and other Greek companies in Ukraine, an external trade relations advisor for the Kastoria Fur Exhibition and Auction (E.DI.KA.), and a scientific associate at the Hellenic Fur Center. In 1997, he published the monograph "European Union and the Transformation of Ukraine's Economy" in Kyiv through Political Thought publications. He is conducting postdoctoral research (under professorship) to obtain the title of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, focusing on "Problems of European Integration and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation." In 2011, he was declared an academician by the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine. He has served as Vice-Rector of the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia, responsible for international relations and postgraduate studies (2013-2017). Currently, he is the director of the Master's Program in Business Administration (MBA) and a founding member, in collaboration with the Ternopil National Economic University of Ukraine.
