Eleni Louvrou

Eleni Louverou was born and raised in Canada. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Glamorgan, a Master's degree (MSc) in applied psychology from Brunel University, and another Master's degree in psychology from the Open University of England. Her thesis focused on the generalization of play in children with pervasive developmental disorders, for which she conducted a case study involving seventeen children. Her professional experience with children on the autism spectrum began in 2000 in London. Since then, she has worked privately as a psychologist with children, adolescents, and adults with autism, while also collaborating with various centers, associations, and organizations. She translated the book by P. Howlin, S. Baron-Cohen, and J. Hadwin, "Teaching Children with Autism to Mind-Read" (published by Glafki, 2013). She resides in Athens with her family and is a mother of three children.
