
Georgios Androulakis
Georgios Androulakis was born in Thessaloniki in 1951. He graduated from the Hellenic Military Academy in 1973 as a second lieutenant in the infantry. During his career, he served in units and staff positions of the Greek army, as well as in NATO and Greek embassy positions. He retired in 2000 with the rank of major general. He has collaborated with private companies of interest to the Ministry of National Defense and has been involved in tourism. He currently resides permanently in Kos. He is married and has two children. He holds a master's degree in business administration and speaks English and French. He volunteers with local Civil Protection and engages with historical and cultural issues of the broader island region. He contributes articles to local publications and newspapers on topics of his interest.
