Stayroula A. Gatsou

Stavroula A. Gatsou was born in 1976 in Thessaloniki. With studies in management and international trade in France, she worked for a decade as a marketing and communications executive in various European cities, and she is currently involved in teaching. Her poetry has been published in collections in Greek, English, and French. She is a founding member of the (informal) group "cross art," which since 2005 has aimed to create artistic projects through collaboration with multiple contributors and media, with exhibitions in galleries across Europe. Her cross art works are included in private collections. She publishes on the Internet and extensively uses new technologies. She is a member of Greek and international poetry circles. Creator of the Greek Expats Network of Art, Fashion, and Science in Europe, producer of the weekly radio show "Greece Travels" from Brussels, she gives lectures, writes articles, and particularly studies modern Greek identity through 20th-century poetry. She lives in Brussels.
