Giannis Stamatopoulos

Giannis Stamatopoulos was born in Athens in 1985. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus, with his dissertation focusing on "The Costs of the Tax System for Businesses in Greece." He also holds an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business, specializing in Business Administration & Marketing and Communication. He graduated with honors from the Department of Accounting and Finance at the same university. Giannis works as a tax consultant and is a partner at "Forin Stamatopoulos," a company specializing in book publishing and internet services. He is the co-creator and manager of the website Forin.gr and its Tax Information Database "Analysis." As part of his doctoral studies, he participated in teaching the course "Public Economics II" at the University of Piraeus. He holds a Class A accountant-tax consultant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece. Giannis is fluent in English and French. He is married and the father of two children.
