• Emeritus Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). • Member of the Board of Directors of SEGAS and Chairman of the Education and Scientific Support Committee of SEGAS. • Professor of Coaching at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science (TEFAA) at AUTH until 2017. • Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at AUTH from 2013 to 2017. • President of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at AUTH from 2001 to 2003. • Deputy President of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at AUTH from 1999 to 2001. • Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the University Gymnasium at AUTH from 2006 to 2013. • Director of the Coaching and Athletic Performance Laboratory at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at AUTH from 2000 to 2010. • Graduate of the Higher School of Physical Education in Thessaloniki in 1972, with postgraduate studies in West Germany and a PhD since 1987. • Taught coaching and elective courses in the core curriculum from 1983 to 2017 and in the specialization of classical sports at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at AUTH from 1978 to 2017. • Taught in postgraduate programs from 1994 to the present. • Authored or co-authored numerous books, research studies, and scientific articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings. • Presented numerous papers at international scientific conferences and delivered lectures at various seminars and workshops. • Led and participated in numerous research projects. • Initiator and scientific supervisor in the early years of implementing the talent selection, detection, and development program. • Track and field athlete for GS Iraklis Thessaloniki in the 400 m and 400 m hurdles events. • Member of the national junior team. • National track and field coach in running events and decathlon, achieving national records and international distinctions from 1978 to 1985. • Fitness coach for the national basketball team and A1 league teams (PAOK, ARIS, PERISTERI, IRAKLIS) from 1985 to 2000.
