Petros P. Karagiannidis

Petros Karagiannidis is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He was born in Kalamaria and graduated from Kalamaria High School. He holds a degree and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from AUTH. As a Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at AUTH, he focused his research on the synthesis and structural study of complex compounds. He is the author of several books, including "Analytical Chemistry," 1968 (2nd edition 1979), "General Inorganic Chemistry," 1985 (3rd edition 2008), "Special Inorganic Chemistry," 1982 (4th edition 2009), "Synthesis and Study of Complex Compounds," 1985, and "Laboratory Exercises in General and Inorganic Chemistry," 1989.
