Garry Dessler

Gary Dessler is a Professor of Business Administration at Florida International University. He studied sciences at New York University, completed his graduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from City University in New York. He is renowned for his extensive research and writing, which includes books such as "Essentials of Management" (1999), "Essentials of Human Resource Management" (1999), "Management: Leading People and Organizations in the 21st Century" (1998), and "Human Resource Management, 7th Edition" (1997). For many years, he contributed articles to the Miami Herald, with numerous publications in the fields of organizational behavior, leadership, and quality improvement.
