Rodrigo García

Rodrigo Garcia, considered one of the most important figures in theater worldwide, was born in Buenos Aires in 1964 and settled in Madrid in 1986. There, he founded the theater group La Carniceria Teatro (Butchery Theater), with which he stages performances of an always experimental nature, blending theater with visual arts, video, music, song, dance, and performance. "I do theater because I don't like the way the world is organized. I don't want to submit to common sense; I don't want this consensus they try to impose on us.
