
Filia Dendrinou
Filia Dendrinou is a theater educator and actress. She is involved in designing and organizing Theater Education programs in schools. She has a particular focus on mask techniques in Commedia dell'arte, clowning techniques, and the art of storytelling. As a storyteller, she has presented her work in theaters and various festivals in Greece and abroad. She has taught theater at all educational levels and participated in numerous European projects for theater research and promotion. As a screenwriter and scientific consultant for documentaries related to theater, she has collaborated with Educational Television of the Ministry of Education, the General Secretariat for Adult Education, and the Pedagogical Institute for the production of audiovisual material (DVD) for Primary Education titled "Theatrical Education from Grade 1 to Grade 6." For the past ten years, she has been working as a theater educator at the Philekpaideutiki Etaireia (Arsakeia and Tositseia Schools) and simultaneously as an actress in theater, television, and film. Her first children's book, "With Notes and Letters" (1994), a poetry collection illustrated by herself, was awarded a commendation by the Greek Children's Book Circle.
