Giorgos Ganelis

Giorgos Gkanelis was born and raised in Athens. He studied Classical Philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina. He is a Literature teacher in Secondary Education. He has published the poetry collections "Disabled Runners" (Stochastis, 2012), "The Marksman of Memory" (Stochastis, 2013), "Bankruptcy of Ideas" (Stochastis, 2014), "Out of Himself" (Stochastis, 2015), "Below Zero" (Stochastis, 2017), "Pangs of Poetry" (Stixis, 2018), "Chest X-ray" (Thraka, 2019), and "The Incomplete Ultimatum" (2020). He has contributed to collective works such as "Theater in Poetry" (Momentum, 2017), "Anthology of Poets 2015-2017" (24 Letters, 2018), "The Poems of 2018" (Society of Decades, 2019), "The Subterranean Openings" (Rome, 2019), and "Poems of the Crisis [2008-2018]" (Iolkos, 2020). Additionally, his work is featured in the "Poetic Diary" from 2013 to 2019.
