Ismini Karyotaki

Ismini Karyotaki was born in Ioannina. She studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (E.M.P.) and set design at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts. She worked as an architect with the team of Y. Kandylis (Paris) on urban planning projects and later (Athens) on the study of the Athens Cultural Center. Since 1986, she has been involved in environmental design, focusing particularly on the protection and management of riparian and coastal areas. In 1997, her first solo painting exhibition was held at the "24" gallery, and her book "In Darkness and Light My Soul Rows" was published by "To Rodakio" editions.
