Heinrich Heine

Heinrich Heine was born in Düsseldorf in 1797 and passed away at the age of 59 in Paris in 1856. He was a lyrical poet and a leading figure in romantic poetry. While still a student, he wrote the poem "Balthasar," and as a law student, he penned "Dream Fantasies," "Songs," and "Romances." Later, he authored "Lyrical Intermezzo," "Travel Pictures," "Book of Songs," "New Songs," among others. From 1848, at the age of 51, he remained paralyzed until his death.
