Description

Athens, today...
Hypatia swore in front of the mirror that it was the last time she would not get answers... She wanted to "break the spell", obsessively breaking the lock of the old trunk. She started taking out worn-out diaries, papers, yellowed photographs. She assumed her grandfather had brought them from Smyrna. Among the papers, a small velvet box hid a gold locket with the letter A engraved on it. Who was this mysterious woman and why did her father have so many secrets hidden?
Suddenly, the queen's path reversed and the mirror shattered. The nights hurt her; the nights drove her crazy...

Smyrna, present and past...
Aiden unlocked the heavy chain of the front door. The old mansion in the Kordon area had been waiting for someone to bring it to life for years. Inside the dusty room, a woman with long red hair looked at him with sadness. She was wearing a long blue dress and blue earrings with two beautiful stones resembling tears. Her overwhelming sob dragged Aiden into the past... She approached him and led him to a window. Outside, many people were passing by, like in an old movie... Suddenly, everything turned dark, her blue dress turned red with blood, and she held a knife in her hands...
A few days later, Aiden held a folder with information about the previous owners. Inside the folder was a photograph of Hypatia. When he saw it, he turned pale... the two women were identical! From that moment on, the search for this figure became an obsession, a passion, a love.

Fate had already decided who would unmask the queen first... or maybe not?

No relation to her previous 2 books. There were times when I would read the same pages over and over again because I couldn't understand what had happened and what was being referred to! Why, Eufanthia?
