The topics covered in this book are the result of months of discussions between Simon Wollfeaar, John Fairlay, and myself.
During more than half a century of omnivorous and indiscriminate study (as a student, I would get lost in the Tonton Public Library and devour books at a rate of several volumes per day - a feat that has become impossible in the age of television), I encountered countless puzzles and mysteries that piqued my interest. Many of them have now been solved; however, most remain unsolved, and it is from this hard core of the rest that we have chosen the themes of our series.
