This narrative is a vivid depiction of the 1940s. A depiction without the classic shades of black. Without denying them, it withdraws them into the background from which the bright colors emerge that dominate the vibrancy of life, which springs forth in a multitude of colors from the ink. Like stars shining in the abyss of darkness, like graphic, captivating, and inexplicable life-givers.
No matter how surprising, this is the life I lived and I recall it as a journey to the 1940s. To show how I saw others then, through the eyes of a child, and how I see them now.
