Description

The population of Earth has gathered in a single, giant city in order to survive, after millennia of evolution and expansion into space. The culture follows the footsteps of ancient history and develops under the oppression and bigotry of a powerful priesthood. The machines, having long achieved self-sufficiency and independence, reproduce, shaping themselves in the image and likeness of their creators. No one can distinguish artificial intelligence from humans anymore.

Once, a revolution begins in the slums of the Eastern Sector and the machines rise up, demanding their masters Peace, Equality, Brotherhood. The hand of God, as the priests say, is extended to stop the conflict. Saul, the chief priest, is called to judge a heretic who is brought before him by the temple guards. They call him the Teacher and his words are not divisive or bigoted at all. As if prepared for a long time, struggling with his own heretical ghosts, the judge listens to him proclaim the values that led the masses to his footsteps, frightening the established order.
