The adventure of women in a multidimensional, combative journey through time, from subjugation to emancipation, is the concern of all of us. It is a matter of politics and culture, a matter of everyday life, which depends not only on physiological but also on ethical and social parameters.
In our days, this adventure is turning a page. With many problems still pending, new prospects seem to be opening up for the dynamic redefinition of women's position.
In this very interesting study, Rula Kaklamanaki formulates the following fundamental question: How can this new dynamic situation, with women now being formally accepted as citizens and human beings, equal to men, with their dual status as biological (sex) and social (gender) gender, become one of the main levers that will move the threads of a new, pan-human revolution? A revolution that will ensure the citizen the position he deserves. The search for an answer presupposes a comprehensive approach to the issue - knowledge of the past and the present, in order to determine the prospects of the future and to secure the further promotion of women's achievements.
