Under the dazzled gaze of their son, they dance to Nina Simone's Mr. Bojangles. Their love is magical, intoxicating, an eternal celebration. In their home, only pleasure, imagination, and friends have a place. The one setting the tone, leading the dance, is the mother, an unpredictable and eccentric chimera. She adopted the fourth member of the family, Miss Excess, a large exotic bird that roams around the apartment. She constantly sweeps them all into a whirlwind of poetry and utopia. One day, however, it will go too far. Father and son will do everything to avoid the inevitable, to continue the celebration, whatever the cost. Never has crazy love been so worthy of its name.
