Using examples from the agriculture and food industry, theoretical approaches that connect the formation, control, and improvement of quality at the enterprise level with strategic choices are presented.

The most important quality system standards are provided, as well as the methods, techniques, and processes of Quality Management, System Certification, and Total Quality Management. The presentation focuses on issues that are particularly important for the Greek agricultural reality.
