After the worldwide success of the book "Crime with a Signature" and 100 years after Agatha Christie created her famous hero, Hercule Poirot returns in the new novel "Closed Casket" by Sophie Hannah.

Lady Athelinda Playford has invited some friends to her mansion for a week, but their stay will not unfold as usual. As the guests arrive, she instructs her lawyer to make an urgent change to her will - a change she intends to announce that same evening.
Surprisingly, she has decided to disinherit her two children and leave her entire estate to a man who has only a few weeks to live... Among the invited guests are two men whom the hostess has never met - the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and Scotland Yard inspector Edward Catchpool.
